With this add-on you can import variable products into Woocommerce using the free Woocommerce CSV Import.
After installing the add-on there are several new fields available for you when you create a header:
The possible values are:
variation_master for the master and
product_variation for the product child
In here you enter the SKU of the variation master.
This field is meant to setup which variations are used and how the are used. The way to setup is
variation->is_visible->is_used_for_variation. If you look at this example:
color->1->1|size->0->1, we have 2 attributes. Color is visible and is used for variations. And size is not visible and used for variations.
If you want the predefined values, you can add them using default attributes. If you want blue to be default for color and medium to be default for size you can set it up like this:
To import variable products you have to set up the attributes you want to use in advance. The values will be created on the fly! In the Add-on screen there is help that guides you. You can see what attributes you already have, what are the preferred header tags and information about the values you must use.
Here is an example setup of how a CSV would look:
First set up the attributes you want to use, put them in your CSV file and you can upload them all! Also see my knowledgebase for more info!
